Biography:

The FPEF is the industry association which represents more than 95% of all fresh fruits as well as vegetables, being exported by South Africa. As CEO of FPEF, his core responsibilities are to address market access matters and facilitate the retention and growth of a sustainable and profitable $ 3.3 billion export industry and to guide and lead the FPEF according to its objectives. He is also member of the Perishable Products Exports Control Board (PPECB), Fruit South Africa and Chairman of the Management Committee of the Post-Harvest Innovation (PHI) program. He is further founder member of the Fruit Industry Value Chain Roundtable (FIVCRT) and serves to the South African Country Council of the International Fresh Produce Association, the IFPA. He also was the President of SHAFFE and is member of the SHAFFE Executive Committee.
